Internship Experience

“I was fortunate enough to be selected as one of your interns in February of this year. It was going to be my first internship, and I was a nervous wreck. I had a lot of concerns and questions; I’m not sure how I’m going to manage my time. Is it possible for me to handle all of this work? Will I have fun doing what I’m doing? Now that I’ve been working for you for a month and a week, I can honestly say that taking the internship with your organization was the finest decision I’ve made thus far in my college career.

Although I had some challenges, the advantages much outweighed the expenditures, and I believe the experience gave me the confidence to delve wholeheartedly into preparing for my “real-world” career. I’ve learnt a lot about my subject of study and internships in general, in addition to learning how to perform research when it comes to identifying suppliers and developing my writing abilities. While it may sound corny, I am confident that the lessons I learnt during my first internship will serve me well throughout my professional career.

My first internship has come to an end. I feel more prepared to take on my next internship, and I’m excited to see what the future holds.

Thank you, Ma’am Rose, and the rest of the Casia Robinson team. I had a great time and learned a lot! Again I’m Marianne Elizabeth Reyes, BS Tourism Management student of Pan Pacific University intern.”

“My name is Mary Rhose Anne Ocampo Lacadin, a Tourism Management student from Panpacific University located at Urdaneta City Pangasinan, Philippines. I started my Casia Robinson Internship journey on the 14th of February 2022 up until the 5th of April 2022 where I worked as a Human Resources and Admin student intern. I was given a chance by Ma’am Rose to prove to her and the team my capabilities.

I would say that this opportunity was exciting and nerve wrecking before we started because of the fact that this company is more on architectural works which is so not related to my pursued course. But I could confidently say that I managed with the assistance of Ma’am Rose and the team. I adjusted immediately through their warm welcomes and friendly work environment that made me feel that I didn’t have to feel too pressured. I fell in love working for the company that I always find ways to work overtime and help as much as possible. I would always ask each team if they needed help and feel happy whenever they needed one. The job sure wasn’t easy but because of the passion I have for working, rather than feeling overwhelmed, I felt so much joy in doing the tasks.

It is saddening that my journey to Casia Robinson has already come to an end. I will forever be grateful to Casia Robinson for giving me a chance to have this experience. Aside from the experience, I also gained a lot of knowledge. I think that this opportunity is not just about working hard but also about how you can work smart. Thank you so much Casia Robinson! I wish for more blessings to the company! Again, this is Mary Rhose Anne Ocampo Lacadin, signing out!”

“My name is Mark Gerald Ton, and I am a fourth year Information Technology student at Central Mindanao University with a major in Data Network.

I started becoming an IT student intern and part of HR & Admin on the 23rd of February 2022.

On my first day, I was nervous because I had this thought that this company is foreign-based and full of architects, and from my general knowledge architects are meticulous when it comes to design. I was afraid because it’s been so long since I’ve used my editing skills.

But so far I persevere on working everyday.

It was a nice and wholesome internship experience at Casia Robinson. I’ve adjusted finely at the company, and I am comfortable enough to work on every task.

I’ve enjoyed every moment that I work at this company. It was sad to know that my internship will end at 4th of May 2022. But if I were given a chance to work again here at Casia Robinson, I’d happy to apply and work on this company.

Thank you everyone and to Ma’am Rose, and Sir Angelo, for this great internship experience.
